Carolyn Mae Gramlich graduated from Acadia University in Nova Scotia, Canada in 1983 with Bachelor’s degrees in humanities and education. Upon graduation from law school Mississippi College of Law in 2008, she was admitted to practice in all state courts in Florida. Ms. Gramlich is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court, Northern District of Florida.
Law is a second career for Ms. Gramlich; her first career spanned 17 years as a secondary education teacher in the Bahamas and in Fort Myers and Pensacola, Florida schools. She is now fulfilling her lifelong dream of being a lawyer.
Ms. Gramlich practiced with a firm in Seminole, Florida for a year and a half mainly in the areas of Constitutional, Ecclesiastical and Employment Law. Ms. Gramlich practiced with a small firm in Pensacola for nearly two years practicing mainly in the areas of Family Law, Dependency, Estate Planning and foreclosure defense. Ms. Gramlich joined Lois B. Lepp, P.A. in December 2011, where her practice includes all areas of the firm’s practice, with an emphasis on litigation, in which she has a keen interest.
Ms. Gramlich has received awards for her Pro Bono work in law school by volunteering at the Mission First Legal Aid Clinic in Jackson, Mississippi and, since her admission to the Florida Bar, continues to do Pro Bono work locally.
Ms. Gramlich enjoys spending time with friends, reading, calligraphy, piano, long-distance bicycle riding, jogging, walking, studying the Bible, teaching Sunday School, debating and working hard. She is member of the Escambia and Santa Rosa Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
